MQuest Ventures has officially introduced Vibe, TV5’s newest fan-powered music countdown show that puts the spotlight on today’s brightest young artists and rising stars. The program marks a new era in OPM, giving audiences the chance to decide which songs dominate the charts.

In today’s digital landscape where streaming platforms and social media play a major role, every click, play, and share matters. Vibe capitalizes on this shift by placing fan engagement at the heart of the experience, strengthening the connection between artists and listeners in real time.

Aligned with the vision of MediaQuest Holdings Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan to push boundaries in interactive and data-driven entertainment, the launch of Vibe highlights the network’s commitment to innovation, celebrating Filipino talent, and giving fans an active role in shaping the OPM scene.

Leading the charge are the show’s “Vibe” jocks, a powerhouse lineup of artists known for their craft and artistry: Dylan Menor, Elijah Canlas, Ana Ramsey, Queenay, Paulo Angeles, Kych Minemoto, Ryle Santiago, Joao Constancia, and Maxie Andreison. Together, they will join fans in celebrating Original Pilipino Music and showcasing the best of today’s generation.

Rising Artists from Gen V

Also joining the Vibe family are the Gen V artists—MQuest Ventures’ next wave of performers ready to leave their mark in the industry. This talented group includes Carmela Lorzano, Niko Badayos, Gab Pascual, Selina Griffin, Adam Buck, and Mark Ian.

With its mix of established young stars and promising newcomers, Vibe is set to become a fresh platform where fans and artists celebrate OPM together.

“Vibe” has a multi-platform voting system through SMS, web-based, and Meta Messenger.  Radio request voting will also be facilitated via 105.7 TrueFM. Through these, fans can directly affect and shape the music experience, helping Filipino talent to be pushed into the main spotlight–whether they’re already an established artist or an up-and-coming one.

At the helm of the new program is esteemed director Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, who has directed several successful musical-variety shows in the past. Now, he takes on a more youthful and modern approach as the show prioritizes the audience’s taste when it comes to music.

“This is a very exciting time for OPM and for every Filipino music fan,” says Jane Jimenez-Basas, President and CEO of MediaQuest.  “We’re not just showing music. We’re building a community where fans directly decide what they hear and who they celebrate. It’s about giving power to new artists while honoring the legends who came before.”

“’Vibe’ is a big step forward in how we connect with music and artists. It shows how much we believe in new ideas and how dedicated we are to giving content that truly connects with Filipinos. ‘Vibe’ will be a game-changer for OPM,” states Peter Dizon, AVP, Head of Content Operations, MQuest Ventures Inc.

The “Vibe” Experience

The program introduces three new experiences that celebrate original Pilipino music. First is called The Main Vibe, which shows the week’s most popular OPM songs based on fan votes. Through different platforms, fans decide which songs will be shown on the program and its official Top 10 OPM Songs for the week.

Second is Uprising, which provides an avenue for new sounds and rising talents. The experience features new artists and global Filipino breakthroughs. This serves as a launchpad for new artists to enter the main music scene and let fans vote for the songs they discover.

Last is the OG experience, which is a heartfelt, throwback tribute to the legendary artists and cultural icons who have shaped OPM to what it is today. This experience celebrates leaders in music, entertainment, and pop culture, still with the involvement of the fans through their requests via phone call, email, and even snail mail!

Viewers will get to experience “Vibe” as part of their everyday lives with daily shows catering to every fan.

The week begins with the main show, “Vibe,” which airs every Sunday at 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. The main program showcases the Top 10 Hottest Songs of the week voted by the fans. These songs are then brought to life by the most electrifying acts and artists live on the “Vibe” stage.

The fun continues every Monday to Friday afternoon with “Vibe Up,” a fresh and upbeat show for the youth and proud Pinoy. The show brings live guestings featuring emerging and most sought-after artists, music spotlights, and entertaining hot takes on viral trends and topics. “Vibe Up” airs weekday afternoons at 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.

End each day with “Vibe Nights,” a chill, fan-powered nightly wrap-up with music highlights and good vibes. Each episode covers the latest trends in lifestyle and pop culture with interactive segments, live comments, and fun chikahan straight from fans. It airs every Monday to Friday at 11:30 p.m. to 12 m.n.

Serving as a prelude to the Sunday countdown show is “Vibe TV,” a fun and laid-back weekend special featuring a recap of each week as well as voting reminders, vibe jock highlights, and kulitan behind the scenes. It airs every Saturday at 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

Hang out with the “Vibe” jocks, Gen-V, and other artists with “Vibe Cafe,” the official online companion show of “Vibe.” Aired every Sunday 30 minutes before the main show, the program serves as a live pre-show that features live performances, artist drop-ins, and interactive fan segments hyping up the vibe!

The online show is also set to showcase unplugged sessions, behind-the-scenes footages, and never-before-seen interviews where fans get an all-access pass to stories and moments they can only find at “Vibe Cafe.”
