LIST: 41st Star Awards for Movies nominees for 2025

The 41st Star Awards for Movies is set to celebrate the finest talents of Philippine cinema on November 30, 2025 (Sunday). The highly anticipated awards night—filled with glitz, artistry, and heartfelt recognition—will take place at the Makabagong San Juan Theater along Pinaglabanan Road, San Juan City.

This year’s event is produced by GSD (Get Stuff Done) Studios, led by Ms. Elai Tabilog, with direction by the acclaimed filmmaker Jorron Lee Monroy. Together, they promise a spectacular evening that highlights creativity, passion, and excellence in local filmmaking.

A long-standing tradition in the entertainment industry, the Star Awards for Movies has been a symbol of prestige and credibility for more than four decades. Organized annually by PMPC Star Awards Inc.—the country’s pioneer organization of entertainment media professionals—the ceremony honors exceptional achievements in films released in 2024.

Now marking its 41st year, the Star Awards for Movies continues its mission of recognizing the artistry, dedication, and hard work of Filipino filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals. Through this celebration, PMPC reaffirms its commitment to championing Philippine cinema and the creative individuals who bring stories to life on the big screen.

For the first time, PMPC is collaborating with GSD Studios, a full-service media production company that offers a wide range of multimedia services, advertising, below-the-line marketing, and live event production.

“Our team is dedicated to creating high-quality, innovative content that aligns with our clients’ brand goals. At GSD Studios, we pride ourselves on delivering projects on time, within budget, beyond expectations, and with a determined approach,” says the company’s CEO, Ms. Tabilog.

Spearheading this year’s celebration are PMPC President Mell Navarro and Chairman Jimi Escala, whose leadership brings renewed energy and vision to the iconic awards night.

Together with the dedicated members of the association, they aim to make this event a reflection of both legacy and progress—honoring veterans while spotlighting new voices and redefining the craft.

Audiences can expect a night filled with powerful performances, touching tributes, and moments that highlight the heart of Filipino storytelling.

From blockbuster hits to outstanding indie masterpieces, the PMPC is set to pay homage to the talent and resilience that continue to drive Philippine cinema forward.d.
