It looks like the tables have turned for Ms. Charo Cordial, President and CEO of Maddox Jewelry. While she used to be the one admiring celebrities from afar, it’s now stars and online personalities who regularly tune in to her Facebook live selling sessions, YouTube vlogs, and TikTok content.
The latest vlog from Maddox Jewelry stirred buzz online after Katrina Halili’s daughter, Katie, unexpectedly showed up at the Maddox showroom in Marikina with her nanny.
Ms. Charo was even more surprised after learning that Katrina allegedly had no idea her daughter had gone there.
What was initially thought to be a simple shopping trip for school accessories quickly turned into something more extravagant after Katie reportedly asked to look at diamond pieces.
The incident prompted Katrina to head to the showroom herself, where she opened up about her current work situation.
“I don’t have work all the time,” Katrina admitted, before clarifying that she is no longer taping as frequently as before.
“Before, I had tapings three to five times a week and I was rarely at home. But I’m thankful because now I get to spend more time with my daughter. Social media also became more open for opportunities,” she shared.
Katrina also revealed that content creation has brought in several brand partnerships. In a lighthearted moment during the vlog, she joked:
“Katie is the one supporting me now.”
The conversation later shifted to Katrina’s love life after she hinted at the person currently making her happy. Ms. Charo jokingly mentioned Katrina’s former partner, Kris Lawrence, but the actress immediately denied it and clarified that she was referring to someone else.
The vlog also touched on Katrina’s journey from StarStruck contestant to motherhood, including her experiences raising her daughter as an “Ausome Mom,” before Katie eventually chose and purchased her preferred necklace.
Meanwhile, Maddox Jewelry also reminded the public to be cautious of fake accounts circulating online, emphasizing that its only official Facebook page is D Maddox Jewelry.
The brand is also holding a showroom sale on May 7, 9, and 10.
