VMX officially introduced Angel Castro as its newest Premium Crush during a solo press conference held at the Viva boardroom on June 11.

The event also highlighted the major collaboration between Viva and ALV Talent Circuit Inc., headed by president and COO Arnold Vegafria. Angel is the first VMX artist to be launched under the partnership, representing a fresh wave of talents expected to further strengthen the platform’s growing lineup.

Previously known in the industry as Claire Castro, Angel comes from a family with deep roots in Philippine entertainment and media. She is the daughter of actors Diego Castro and Raven Villanueva, and the granddaughter of late broadcasting icon Angelo Castro Jr. and veteran journalist-actress June Keithley.

Despite her prominent lineage, Angel has remained focused on building her own name in showbiz. Her transition from television projects to VMX signals a new chapter in her career.
