ABCVIP Alliance provides ₱1.5 million aid package to 3,000+ earthquake victims in Sarangani

GLAN, Sarangani — ABCVIP Alliance, in partnership with online gaming brands ABC8, J8, PH8, U888, AP777, AQ777, SH777, and 777SH, extended more than ₱1.5 million worth of relief assistance to over 3,000 individuals and families affected by the recent strong earthquake in Sarangani Province.

A significant portion of the aid reached residents of Barangay Batulaki, a remote community in the municipality of Glan that is known for its difficult accessibility. Local leaders and community members said ABCVIP Alliance was among the first organizations to arrive and provide direct support, and was reportedly the first online casino alliance to conduct an on-site relief operation in the area.

Delivering the assistance required a complex and demanding journey. Volunteers departed from Metro Manila with thousands of relief items bound for Mindanao. Because of limited flight availability to General Santos City, the team first traveled through Davao City before undertaking an extended land trip to reach the affected communities in Sarangani.

The relief initiative forms part of ABCVIP Alliance’s efforts to provide timely support to disaster-stricken communities and help residents recover in the aftermath of the earthquake.

The trip to Barangay Batulaki became even more challenging due to landslides, damaged roads and bridges, and heavy traffic caused by the earthquake. In some areas, rivers had to be temporarily filled to create makeshift passages for vehicles carrying relief supplies.

Despite these difficulties, the group successfully delivered relief packs containing rice, food, drinking water, and other essential needs for families temporarily staying in evacuation centers and tent communities.

Prior to distribution, ABCVIP Alliance also conducted relief packing operations in Barangay Diamond Calumpang, where local residents actively participated in preparing thousands of relief packs, highlighting the spirit of bayanihan.

Organizers said the mission was about more than just providing aid. Their goal was to remind affected families that they are not alone and that support is available for their recovery and rebuilding.

ABCVIP Alliance expressed gratitude to all volunteers, sponsors, donors, partners, and supporters who made the mission possible, and reaffirmed their commitment to continue reaching more communities in need.
