LA-based artist-entrepreneur Eduard Bañez praised the film “Forgotten Island” for its representation of Filipinos.
According to Bañez, the Filipino community in Los Angeles continues to promote the movie, hoping that more Americans will watch it and fully understand the richness of Pinoy culture.
The former MTV Asia host also praised Liza Soberano and H.E.R for their talent and undeniable Pinoy pride.
He also stated that the film is extremely important, particularly in these times when the world appears to be divided.
“We should celebrate Filipino culture and creativity. As someone who lives in America, I will always carry my Filipino identity with me wherever I go. This film is also a celebration of making art with human minds and hands in the era of AI. Salute to them,” he expressed.
