Audiences can watch the trailer through YouTube and Facebook.
Under the campaign theme “Love, our last revolution,” the film adaptation of Filipino poet Francisco Balagtas’s classic piece invites audiences to rediscover a story of love, betrayal, and the courage to rise beyond division.
For generations, Florante and Laura has been taught in classrooms and in textbooks. This adaptation brings its emotional conflicts to the big screen, connecting the familiar literary work with questions that remain urgent today: whom do we trust, what do we fight for, and can compassion survive a world shaped by hatred?
At the heart of the story is love that refuses to surrender to power, prejudice, or despair; in a world still divided by faith, identity, and greed for power. The trailer launch introduces that vision to an international audience while sharing the same first look with viewers at home.
Film buyers, distributors, sales agents, festival programmers and media attending ACFM are invited to visit Booth F14 for the unveiling and to connect with the team about the film. Audiences in the Philippines can join the launch online and take part in the conversation using #FloranteAtLaura and #LoveOurLastRevolution.
