Filipino actor Arnold Reyes is celebrating two significant career milestones as he looks forward to being honored at the 16th Annual The Outstanding Filipino Awards (TOFA) and the inclusion of his historical drama film, ‘Los Salvajes Bravos,’ in the official lineup of the 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
These achievements hold special meaning for Reyes, serving as a reminder of his journey in the entertainment industry and the opportunities that continue to come his way through his dedication and hard work.
“I’m incredibly grateful for all the wonderful things happening in my career right now. We have a film included in the MMFF, and now I’m also receiving recognition from TOFA. These are such tremendous blessings for me. What a wonderful Christmas gift!” Arnold shared.

The multi-awarded actor is among the distinguished personalities who will be honored at the 16th Annual TOFA, which recognizes exceptional Filipinos whose achievements have made a significant impact both in the Philippines and on the international stage.
The prestigious event is scheduled for October 24, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida, bringing together some of the most accomplished Filipino artists and personalities from various fields.
Arnold admitted that he was particularly thrilled upon learning about the distinguished individuals who would be honored alongside him.
“I get goosebumps just thinking about it,” he shared, expressing his excitement over being included in a roster of awardees featuring some of the Philippines’ most respected names in entertainment and the arts.
Among the honorees are Philippine entertainment icon Sharon Cuneta, known as the Megastar, whose decades-long career in music, film, and television has made her one of the country’s most enduring stars; OPM legend Kuh Ledesma, whose musical artistry has spanned more than four decades; and international music star Apl.de.Ap, a member of the Grammy-winning group Black Eyed Peas, who continues to represent Filipino talent on the global stage while supporting Filipino communities.
Also receiving recognition is Filipino fashion designer Veejay Floresca who has gained international attention through her accomplishments in the fashion industry, including her participation in Project Runway.
Arnold himself is being recognized for his remarkable body of work in theater, independent cinema and television. Known for his versatility and dedication to his craft, he has established himself as a respected figure in the Philippine entertainment industry.
The evening will also feature renowned television host and interviewer Dr. Boy Abunda, who will serve as the resident host of the celebration.
For Arnold, sharing the spotlight with such accomplished personalities makes the recognition even more meaningful. It is a moment of pride not only for him but also for the Filipino artists whose talents continue to earn appreciation and recognition beyond the country’s borders.
Adding to Arnold’s excitement is the inclusion of Los Salvajes Bravos, a historical drama directed by Paolo Dy and produced by Jesuit Communications Inc. (JesCom Films) in the official entries of the 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival.
The film, which is scheduled to open in cinemas nationwide on December 25, 2026, features a cast led by Ruru Madrid and Romnick Sarmenta with Arnold among the actors bringing the story to life.
The actor admitted that the film’s inclusion in the prestigious annual film festival came as a pleasant surprise.
He is especially grateful for the opportunity to be part of a production that will be showcased during one of the most important celebrations of Philippine cinema.
With the TOFA recognition and the MMFF entry arriving almost simultaneously, Arnold has plenty of reasons to celebrate as the year draws to a close.
For an actor who has consistently dedicated himself to theater, independent films and television, these milestones represent both recognition of his past work and encouragement to pursue even greater heights in the future.
