Regal Films, Inc.’s Mother’s Day offering, My 2 Mommies, continues to sweep success one after the other.
Just five days since it opened in cinemas last May 9, the movie has already accumulated P34.5 million, rendering it a blockbuster hit.
Regal Film’s latest film project initially showed signs that it would be a potential box-office hit when it strongly registered P5.5 million on its opening day.
But its strong ticket sales is just an icing on the cake.
The Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) has given My 2 Mommies a “Grade A,” the highest grade given to a film. The Grade A means a film has met the CEB’s standards and criteria and is ultimately considered a quality project.
Moreso, film critics and reviewers raved about the movie, praising the cast member’s superb performances and its story hat tickles the funny bone and tugs at the heart.

This comedy-drama movie tells the story of Manu (Paolo), a discreet gay, who seems to have everything in life: career, family and love-life. But the rug was swept off his feet when Monica (Solenn), a woman from Manu’s past, shows up and confess that they have a child together. Manu is forced to come to terms with being a parent to a young child, Tristan, who desires to know his “father” for who he truly is.
