Mikee Quintos shines in pageant hosting debut at Miss Manila 2026 coronation night

Actress and singer Mikee Quintos showcased another side of her talent after making her pageant hosting debut at the recently concluded Miss Manila 2026 coronation night, proving she can command a live audience just as effortlessly as she captivates viewers on screen.

Sharing hosting duties with Marco Gumabao and Ahtisa Manalo, Mikee brought warmth, wit, and undeniable Manileña pride to one of the biggest celebrations in the City of Manila.

The occasion also held personal significance for Mikee, a proud Manileña. She opened the event by warmly greeting the audience with the words, “Welcome to Manila. Welcome to my city.”

As soon as she delivered her opening line, it became clear that hosting the prestigious pageant was a meaningful moment for the actress, who proudly calls Manila her home.

A true-blue Manileña from Sampaloc, Mikee effortlessly connected with the crowd by sharing fond childhood memories of growing up in the city.

“Ang pinaka-favorite ko sa Sampaloc, lagi ko inaabangan umulan. Kasi pag umulan, ibig sabihin maglalaro ako sa kalsada. Tapos hihintayin ko yung ice cream na dadaan sa street,” she recalled, drawing smiles and applause from the audience.

(My favorite memory in Sampaloc is always waiting for it to rain. Because when it rained, it meant I could play in the streets. Then I would wait for the ice cream vendor to pass by our street.)

Throughout the evening, Mikee’s natural energy and easy rapport with her co-hosts kept the program lively and engaging. Her hosting style felt polished yet relatable—striking the perfect balance between elegance and fun.

She also turned heads with three standout looks, from a beaded teal Filipiñana to a glamorous white gown that perfectly capped off the night.

For many in attendance, Miss Manila 2026 became more than just a pageant—it was also the night Mikee Quintos introduced a new side of herself: a confident and charismatic host with a genuine love for her city.

As Manila celebrated its 455th anniversary and crowned Pandacan’s Beatrice Santos as Miss Manila 2026, one thing was equally clear—Mikee Quintos has found another stage where she truly shines.
