Kris Lawrence’s latest single, Unlove You, has sparked interest among fans who have been following his renewed connection with former partner Katrina Halili, also known online as “Ms. B.”

The former couple, now popularly referred to as Mr. & Ms. B, have been at the center of an unexpected online “kilig-serye” after their endearing and viral videos began circulating last year.

Their playful interactions have left fans wondering whether there could still be a chance for Kris and Katrina to rekindle their romance. Their feel-good content has also become a welcome break from the distressing news and negativity often seen on social media.

With their natural rapport, Kris and Katrina continue to keep netizens guessing, especially as their videos feature flirty glances, spontaneous hugs, and other subtle romantic cues that create an undeniable sexual tension.

Their interactions are also a source of delight for their 13-year-old daughter, Katie.

As fans continue to follow the story of Mr. & Ms. B, the question remains: Could love be lovelier the second time around?

Kris’ new single, Unlove You, could very well be his biggest cryptic clue to this nagging mystery.

With its climactic refrain phrase, ‘Whether we’re together or apart or find somebody new, I could never unlove you,’ the song hits all the right buttons, echoing the heartbreak but clearly professing the promise of undying love.

Careful not to give any further telltale clues, Kris explains, “It’s about the one ex- that you could never unlove, ‘the one that got away.’

Recorded in the States last August 2025, Unlove You marks another collaborative effort with Kris’ good friend, Grammy Award-winning songwriter and Britain’s Got Talent alumnus, Lil Eddie.

Known for his 2013 hit song Statue, the Filipino-Puerto Rican singer, composer and producer has written and produced tracks for Usher, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Maluma, Daddy Yankee, Britney Spears and many others. He also co-wrote Nobody, Kris’ 2025 single inspired by daughter Katie.

“I’m super excited because Lil Eddie will be in town this week to help promote Unlove You,” Kris shares.

He adds, “Lil Eddie wrote the song in two hours. My producer in the States, Chokobeats, and I created the groove. We built the tracks around the guitar hook you hear at the start.”

The song went love on Spotify last June 24, and both music and lyric videos have been uploaded on YouTube. Shot in Los Angeles, California last September 2025, the official music video also features Lil Eddie and model Chey.

Flattered by all the heartwarming feedback for their Mr. and Ms. B tandem, Kris humbly admits, “I feel so grateful that we’re being received so positively by netizens. It makes us feel like what we’re doing is headed in the right direction. Where it leads, we don’t know, but we’re kinda just going with the flow.”

With all the buzz triggered by their online ‘kilig’ moments, no one could possibly be happier than their 13-year old daughter, Katie, who also gets her fair share of socmed exposure via their feel-good family vids.

Kris proudly shares, “I think Katie is genuinely happy. You can see it in the way she smiles, the way she laughs, and the sense of security she carries. One thing I’ve learned is that children thrive when the people they love choose peace over pride. Katrina and I have worked hard to create that kind of environment for her, and we’ve seen beautiful progress – not because of one person, but because of consistency, patience and love. At the end of the day, that’s what matters to me.”

Kris had just recently wrapped up a successful U.S. and Canada tour, and is currently gearing up for upcoming shows at KDR Adventure Camp (August 16); NOCTOS (September 10-11); Chicago (October 16); Toronto (with Lil Eddie/October 17); Bakersfield, California (October 23); and Alaska (October 25). 

The Sept 10-11 NOCTOS bar gigs also double as his birthday celebration for his family’s avid KKK supporters.
