New P-pop boy group One South is taking the next step in its musical journey as it brings its music, stories, and dreams from Mindanao to Manila under its new management, Vibrant Voice Production & Talent Management Inc.

The five-member group is composed of:

• Jeson Retirado Ramos, known as One South Jace — leader, lead vocalist, and composer/arranger
• Adrian Sorongon Sol, known as One South Drey — lead dancer and lead vocalist
• Jhevin Jhone Paloma Malan, known as One South Jhev — visual and lead vocalist
• Marvincy Salazar Abayon, known as One South Arvy — main vocalist and belter
• Rover Kylle Plastico Casas, known as One South Rover — main rapper and main dancer

One South held ‘Hiyaw Mula sa Timog: The Exclusive Media Showcase of One South’ on September 8, 2026, in Quezon City. The event brought together members of the media, industry partners, content creators, and invited guests for an introduction to the group and a closer look at its music and journey.

Filipino culture for worldwide audience

During the press conference, the members also discussed their conscious effort to incorporate elements of ethnic clothing and other artistic influences from the South into their outfits and music. They said they want to use their platform to promote indigenous fabrics, culture, and traditional instruments while maintaining their versatility as a pop group.

“We want to promote indigenous fabric, culture, and instruments. We are open to pop to make us versatile in music.”

The group also wants to show audiences in the Philippines and abroad that the country has its own rich cultural identity that can be shared with the rest of the world. Through their music, fashion, and performances, One South hopes to bring elements of southern Philippine culture to a wider audience.

With Vibrant Voice Production & Talent Management Inc. now behind the group, One South is entering a new chapter as it aims to pursue bigger opportunities and introduce its talents to the Manila music scene. The management will work alongside the members as they further develop their artistry and connect with a wider audience.

The media showcase and beyond

The event featured performances of their original songs “Galak” and “Hiyaw,” alongside their renditions of “Tulad Mo” by TJ Monterde and “Mapa” by SB19.

Beyond their performances, the members shared the personal stories, sacrifices, and experiences that shaped their journey. Moving from Mindanao to Manila means being away from their loved ones while taking a major step toward pursuing their dreams in the music industry.

For the members, One South is more than a performing group. It is a space where they can grow together, create music, support one another, and pursue both their individual and collective dreams. They hope to perform on bigger stages and eventually reach audiences beyond the Philippines.

With their new management and a renewed drive to pursue their goals, One South hopes to establish an identity that reflects their roots, experiences, and aspirations. Their music carries a message of family, sacrifice, perseverance, support, and the courage to keep chasing one’s dreams.
