As it continues to foster Filipino music and talent, Rockitwell Studios and MusicArtes Inc. has recently unveiled an all-new Filipino musical, ‘Silver Lining,’ debuting this October 2023 at the renowned Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium within the RCBC Plaza.
Every exceptional musical thrives on a captivating narrative as its core. It brings together performers, the creative team, and the audience, all united in the enchanting moment of theatrical wonder.
‘Silver Lining‘ is an original production featuring contemporary rock and pop melodies. It embarks on a journey of rediscovery spanning two eras, immersing audiences in the challenging 70s while shedding light on the contemporary struggles and conflicts faced by today’s youth, interspersed with moments of laughter and drama. The music encapsulates the experiences of this generation, encompassing themes of love, camaraderie among friends, and the search for a silver lining amid the trials of survival—a narrative of determination, hope, and redemption.
Ricky Davao leads an exceptional ensemble of seasoned and emerging artists, including Noel Comia Jr. and Krystal Brimner from Star Magic.
